Honor Flight #7 October 19, 2013

Honor Flight Central Florida and Space Coast Honor Flight teamed up to serve 75 World War II and Korean War Veterans to Washington D.C. on October 19th, 2013. The group picture below shows Honor Flight Central Florida’s 50 veterans, their guardians and other support staff.

This is our two year anniversary of being associated with the National Honor Flight organization. Since our inception in October 2011, Honor Flight Central Florida has served 201 WWII or Korean War veterans over seven flights, normally 25 at a time

Our next flight on April 5th, 2014 will be a full charter of the serving 75 more of
“The Greatest Generation”

To the veterans on our October 19th, 2013 flight,
it has been our privilege to serve you.

Flight #3 April 27th, 2013

On April 27th, 2013 Honor Flight Central Florida flew our 3rd successful mission. We had a memorable and enjoyable day sharing this unique experience together as you can see from our group photo below.

We would like to thank our WWII & Korean War Veterans again for their service and for giving us the opportunity to serve them by taking them to see their WWII Memorial, The Korean War Memorial & the Changing of the Guard at Arlington Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
