2024 HIGHLIGHTS:
Honor Flight Central Florida announces the 6th annual veteran's celebration "Hot Rods for Heroes" Car, Truck & Bike show on Saturday March 16, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. returning to the northwest parking lot of the Oviedo Mall in Oviedo, FL.
This is a fun-filled, family style afternoon with over 200 classic and modern show cars, trucks and motorcycles on display. All wheels are welcome!
- Meet, talk with, and thank WWII, Korea and Vietnam heroes
- Warbird airplane flyover immediately following the national anthem
- See vintage vehicles from the Florida Military Vehicle Heritage Group | MVPA
- Hear bagpipes courtesy of The City of Mount Dora and Central Florida First Responders Pipes & Drums
- Buy chances to win a $1000 Gift Card (Need not be present to win)
- Raffle, Deal at the Wheel prize raffle & more fun surprises
- Food and Beverages available for purchase
- Enjoy music with Butch Johnston of WJBJ Cruisin' with the Classics
Come out and learn more about our future flight missions, but more importantly to celebrate and thank our Veterans. Spectators are free.
100% of the proceeds from this show will go directly to providing FREE Honor Flights for our Veterans.
Top 10, Best of Show and Veteran's Choice Awards at 1:30 p.m. We are encouraging all participants to display and pay tribute to the military service of their family and friends or to showcase historic and patriotic themes. Awards at 1:30 p.m. Rain or shine.
