Honor Flight Central Florida announces our 2nd 2019 Flight Mission – Saturday, June 15th

In less then 3 short weeks, Honor Flight Central Florida will be going “wheels up” on our 2nd 2019 Flight Mission to honor your hometown heroes with free trips to their memorials in Washington DC. We will have 24 Honorees that served us in WWll, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, and Operation Desert Storm.

We will be traveling up and back on the 15th from Orlando International Airport, with our returning flight scheduled to arrive at Orlando (MCO) at 9:00 PM. We will be arriving on Southwest Airlines flight 5315  from Baltimore. We hope you will all mark your calendars and save the date so you can greet our arriving Veterans in Terminal A by Starbucks around 9:20 PM . Be sure to check for our on time arrival before you head to the airport. Welcome home events are the close to a very special day for our Honored Veterans and we love to fill the airport with patriots to give them the welcome home they never got when they concluded their service to our nation. Bring flags, bring signs, bring your family and friends, because welcome home events are for the family. Our most senior vets are well in to their 90s. Many of the Honored Veterans traveling with us have never seen their memorial.
