It is with great pride and excitement that Honor Flight Central Florida announces our first ever fundraising event “Hot Rods for Heroes” Classic Car show to be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ace Café in Downtown Orlando, Florida.

This is a fun filled, family style afternoon with more than a hundred classic cars on display across downtown’s new premier show car venue, Ace Café. Shake hands and talk with WWII, Korean and Vietnam War heroes. Come and see National Recording Artist and active supporter of our Veterans, Colton James, perform “Brave Men” and other songs and meet former WWE Superstar & American Gladiator turned Longwood City Commissioner, The Blueprint Matt Morgan. Enjoy classic oldies music with Butch & Jen Johnston of WJBJ. There will be a 50/50 raffle, airline ticket raffle, prize raffles and other fun events. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Ace Café’s daily menu. Come out and learn more about our 2018 flight missions, but more importantly come out to celebrate and thank our Veterans!

Honor Flight Network was created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials at no cost to them. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. After serving these veterans, our efforts then focus on honoring Korean and Vietnam Veterans. Since 2005 the Honor Flight Network has flown over 850,000 veterans from 46 states and 146 hubs. Honor Flight Central Florida is a registered HUB of the national Honor Flight Network. We are an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization licensed to solicit charitable donations in Florida. We serve Central Florida Veterans regardless of which county they live in and fly out of the Orlando International Airport.
