The planes are flying again as Honor Flight Central Florida is honoring 25 Veterans by taking them to Washington D.C to honor them for their service.
We created this event in 2018 to raise awareness about Honor Flight Central Florida, and to attract new Veteran honorees and new Guardian escort applicants for future flight missions. We continue to be overwhelmed by the growth and the outpouring of support from so many veterans, first responders, patriotic spectators, past donors, new sponsors, veteran non-profits and museums, and the local community.
The planes are flying again as Honor Flight Central Florida is honoring 50 Veterans by taking them to Washington D.C to honor them for their service. Veterans on the flight include men and women from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam Era.
It is with great pride and excitement that Honor Flight Central Florida announces our fifth annual fundraising event “Hot Rods for Heroes” Car, Truck & Bike show to be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Returning to last year’s larger venue, the northwest parking lot of The Oviedo Mall in Oviedo, FL.
